John Brown's Hot 4.0 Jeep

Thanks to John, a new Inliner from Carlisle, Ohio who sends these pictures of his dirt-digging Jeep:

280 ci, 14.4 comp flat tops, 253/257 at .050 Cam Motion solid cam, Jesel roller rockers, Gear drive, stock 1994 4.0 head, MPI injected, Electromotive fuel/ignition system, hand fab intake.[two kinds in pics], 1st has two 60mm butterflies, second and latest has three 56mm tbs, step header-1 5/8 to 1 3/4, 904 chrysler, Coan 8" converter-5100 stall, Tranz act pro brake, John Donato trans components. Typical performance is high 4.6 seconds to mid 4.7's in 300 feet[dirt] at approx 66 to 68 mph. I did take it to the local 1/8th asphalt 3 years ago and pedaling a 4ft wheelstand at the line leaving at idle it ran a 1.59 60 ft [goes 1.65 in the dirt leaving at 5100 stall] and finished at 7.29 at 94 mph. I really would like to hang about 200 lbs on the nose and really try to improve on that someday. Thanks
