Frank Fry Sr. - 48 Hudson Commodore

This is my 48 Hudson Commodore Six 4 door. It has a 53 Hornet 308 cid flathead 6 bored .060 over (for 318 cid) has factory dual carbs (1 bbls). It also has a street cam and headers from the late Jack Clifford. Runs and drives fine. I’ve had it 4 years and rebuilt about everything you can’t see. It has a 3 speed manual trans with overdrive, 4.11 rear end with bias ply L78X15 rears and G78X15 fronts. All 4 wheels are Newstalgia smoothies, 15x6 painted Chevy orange. I live in Tucson and am 60 years old. This is my first Hudson since I was 17.

 Thanks,

Frank Fry.

Here are the engine shots. It needs some paint and cleanup, but I’d rather drive it. I had the 4 core radiator redone in June and still haven’t painted it. We have a Hudson club meet in Laughlin NV this weekend so it won’t get done for awhile. Thanks again, Frank Fry.
