Trent's 1970 Opel GT

The Opel is a 1.9L CIH engine with BRC 12 to 1 compression racing pistons.  It has 1.8" intake valves and 1.6" exhaust valves.  Much bigger than stock.  It has Crane roller rockers with screw in studs.  The cam is a Cat Cams solid grind racing cam.  It has dual sidedraft DCOE 40's Weber carburetors and uses a PaceSetter header.  The flywheel is an aluminum Unorthodox Racing lightweight flywheel.  This car is an FProduction SCCA road race car.

Below is Trent's wife's Chevy 194 that was bored .030" over and has 10.5 to 1 compression.  It has a Clifford Performance head with 1.94" intake valves and 1.50" exhaust valves.  It used 7/16" screw in rocker arm studs with Crower roller rockers and Crower dual springs.  The cam is a Crower level 4 hydraulic cam with .500" lift.  The intake is a Offenhauser intake manifold with an Edelbrock 500cfm Performer carburetor.  It has a Ram Clutch Kit.  This engine will go in a 1964 Chevy II which is in the process of being restored.  More info can be had at www.OpelMotorsport.net/exterior.html
