Bob bought this car for $1,500
in Kansas and spent 21 month restoring this 2dr
Chevy sedan. The body was in great shape but
the fenders needed some work. The car is all
original except for adding an alternator and
air-conditioning unit. You will notice how subtle
the ac unit looks on the dash.

Bob also redid the wood
grain on the dash, not an easy task, I know I've
tried it myself! Bob did all the work himself
including the exceptional base coat /clear coat
paint job. He put the compressor where the generator
was and then stacked the alternator on top of the
compressor which is driven by a 3/8' belt. He
took the balancer from a '47 216 and installed the
pulley from a '55 235. With this combination
the rivets will work and the hole will line up.
Besides the '37 Chevy, Bob also has a '55
Chevy pickup 2nd series with a split manifold.
