Jim's 46

I've owned this Chevy for 20 plus years, after joining Inliners and learning more about 261's decided to build one for the old truck. Motor is bored .040 over and has a Howard 3/4 cam from Patricks, big intakes and Edelbrock 2 X1 intake running BXOV-2 Stromberg carbs, exhaust manifold is '54 Corvette.

Finned al rocker and side covers have INLINERS script, done by Charlie Baker. Trans is Saginaw 4 speed and rear end is out of a '66 Chev pickup with 3:08 ratio. I completely restored the truck, chassis runs a 2 1/2" Moor Drop axle bolted to '57 pickup brakes, wheels are 15" stock artilleries with rears widened for fat tires.

Latest trick is new Mini HEI from Langdon's, really makes some hot spark. The '46 has been on the road for nearly 10 years now since the resto job. Couldn't have done it without the help of so many great Inliner friends
