The paint is DuPont lacquer with a
clear coat applied. The color is a 1970 Corvette
color called “Branshatch Green”.
The wheels are from a 1981 Dodge Mirada with Cragar
spinners adapted.
The front spring coils have been cut and homemade
lowering blocks were installed in the rear for a drop
of about 2”.
|
The original engine is Bored
.080” over, Isky #44 ¾ cam, Edmunds water heated
intake and Edmunds aluminum head, the block is
ported and relieved, and runs Fenton headers with
glaspacks on a 2” exhaust system. The
transmission is a three speed overdrive from a ‘52
Plymouth and runs to the stock 3.90:1 rearend. |

The upholstery is light grey velour,
light gray vinyl, and darker gray tweed tuck and roll
inserts. Jim did all the work - wiring, engine, body
and paint, and upholstery. It was a lot of
fun to build and a lot of fun to drive. Jim Russell : Email |
