Phil's Inliners

Here's a few pics of my rides.  The first one is a 1966 Ford pickup with a Ford 300-6, dual 500's, Clifford cam and header, Chevy intake valves, 10:1 pistons, Pertronix ignition & AOD trans.

The second one is a 1934 English Ford Model Y, the precursor of the Anglia. It looks like a 3/4 scale '34 with a slightly narrower grille. I got the body from Gibbon Fiberglass, but doing it old timey. I've louvered the hood and replaced the trunk with a louvered panel. The engine's big, so I moved the firewall back a foot which required I lengthen the roof 3" to gain back some legroom. I Repro'd the chassis with a Mustang II front end which I narrowed 11".  I also narrowed the rear frame rails so I could install a Jag rear narrowed down 20". I'm running M/T 10.5x26-15 rears and 165/65-13's in front. The engine is a 470 Mercruiser which is 1/2 of a Ford 460 with 0.1" less stroke so 224 CID. I needed a 2-3/8" spacer to raise the blower to clear the valve cover so I welded a diagonal plate in it and routed 2-1/4" tubes through an intercooler. I plan to run 10# of boost. I've got a dwarf fuel tank for ice water, electric pump, and a small cooler with fan in the trunk. That's a Pro Jection unit and I turned the breaker cam off the distributor to press on a Chrysler reluctor. A Mallory Unilite cap fit, so I'll ground four of the spark plug wires so the EFI gets an 8 cyl signal to supply enough fuel. Fluidamper, custom flywheel by the chat room sponsor, Innovation Technologies. He used to run a Merc with a Boss head that did 150 in the 1/4. Speed Pro rings, Reed regrind, Crane roller rockers, bus exh. manifold I bought from Ak Miller, reworked SBC bell housing, Centerforce, and a TK3550 5 spd.I plan to paint both cars in the next few weeks, and will send more photos at that time.
