Well, what can be said about the fellow above...  Is he an Inliner?  The picture speaks for itself.   Tom Langdon is one of those Inliners that we all know about.  His `39 is immediately recognized and the sweet bumble bee sound that resonate out from those pipes is unmistakably his!  The car is powered by a 1957 341 cubic in. GMC engine (302 with 1/8" bore and 1/4" stroke using Mopar rods and Chevy V8 pistons) - McGurk triple carb intake with 3 Holly 1 bbls.  McGurk rocker cover - Wayne side cover - McGurk full race roller camshaft - HEI Ignition - Fluid damper - Aluminum flywheel and aluminum clutch - Borg Warner T5 5 speed transmission with overdrive - `57 Chevy rear axle with 3.70 positraction - `54 Chevy front suspension - Buick grand national wheels.  As members of Inliners International, we know that Tom's car was selected to grace the cover of our 20th year of the 12 Port News.  Tom has done and still does a lot for Inliners International, he served as President, wrote numerous tech articles, attends many functions, and is an all around good guy.  Tom now serves all us inliner aficionados as owner and THE BOSS of Langdon's Stovebolt Engine Co..  As his site says...  "The best advice money can't buy!"  You can see and hear his engine by following the link above.

Along with the great photo above, Tom sent along these interesting pictures...
