Troy's 68' Ford Pick Up

One clean 68'!

The transmission is the stock 3-speed that has been treated to a floor conversion with a Hurst Indy shifter and linkage. The rearend remains stock, containing 3.50 ratio gears. Future plans include upgrading the tranny to either a T-5 5-speed or a Toploader 4-speed. As for the rear, maybe a detroit locker with some 4.11's, still unsure about the gearing.

Running a 300ci HD block. It has an Isky 262 Supercam that has a .445 valve lift and 208 deg. duration at .050" on a 108 deg. centerline. The motor is fed by a Holley 450 cfm carburetor originally from a 66/67 390 that has been upgraded with center hung float bowls, a milled choke horn and a vacuum secondary easy change spring kit. In addition to the Clifford 4 bbl intake and Hedman headers, I also installed a Lokar style chrome spoon accelerator pedal and cable assembly from Jen-E distributing company. It is a very nice unit and simple to install.
