We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in INLINERS INTERNATIONAL.  We encourage you to join and take an active part in our Club.  Although Inliners is not a large organization (we currently have approximately 1400 members), we remain an active, close-knit group.  We are especially proud of our strong local chapters in many parts of the country.

Inliners International and its publication, “The 12 Port News,” were first conceived in late 1980 by four individuals:  Charlie Baker from Iowa, Herb Hall from Michigan, Don Kincaid from California, and Gary Wise from Washington.  Although separated by thousands of miles, they shared a love for the “Stovebolt” Chevy 6 and it’s big brother, the GMC.  Their dream was to bring together all inline engine fans, car builders, racers, designers, street rodders and restorers into one organization.

Recognizing that the special racing 12 port heads made for the early Chevy and GMC 6’s during the 1950’s represented the epitome of design during that era, they decided to emphasize those engines and so named the Club publication in their honor.  Today, Inliners International is dedicated to any 4, 6 or 8 cylinder INLINE engine, whether it be a Chevy, GMC, Ford, Mopar or any other make.  We feel we have succeeded in publishing more information on inline engines than any other current publication.

We encourage you to access our website at www.Inliners.org.  There you will find additional information regarding the Club, including contacts, a calendar of events, tech tips, etc.  In closing, we look forward to welcoming you as a new member.
