I was given a t-5. I was told that it was from a 86 s10. The # off the green and white tag is WG 13-52-145. The casting # off the top of the cover is 13-51-097-901. Could somone please tell me what the ratios are. Thanks in advance.

See the post below about the T5, here is the site that might help that was mentioned in that post.

Since you have the numbers, did you try the local Chevy dealership parts dept.?

You could also mark the shafts and turn them while in each gear and note the difference they turn to determine the ratio of each gear.

According to the chart I have, that number ID's a NWC T5 from a '84-'87 "S" truck, either 2.5L L4 or 2.8 V6. It could have either of two ratio sets:

RPO ML3:
1st 4.03
2nd 2.37
3rd 1.49
4th 1.00
5th 0.73

RPO ML4:
1st 3.76
2nd 2.18
3rd 1.42
4th 1.00
5th 0.73

You'll have to do what Gearhead describes to ID the 1st gear ratio. Let us know what you've got!

Thank you all for the great responses. I really do appreciate it. I'll figure it out this weekend.
