Who makes forged pistons for the 250?

Anyone who makes forged pistons.

Sealed Power/Speed Pro are probably the only company that currently has an "off the shelf" piston for the engines. Others like Arias, Ross, Venolia, JE, CP, Wiseco can make them, but they are going to be a custom part, because they are not a stocking item and can be pretty costly.

I have tried looking at all the website I come across... I cannot find a listing. I have sent emails to some of them, but am waiting for a response.

Arias made mine. Took about four weeks. They really look good.

You wont see them on their sites, the inline stuff is mostly all custom except for the the real popular ricer stuff, but they have the capability to do them.

They get far too many requests for custom work from people in high school, prison, etc. who will never buy anything.
Call them up, and they'll tell you where to find a piston submission form on-line, or mail you one.
Remember: you become the general contractor, and the piston will be no better than the dimensions and instructions you give them. You don't get free engineering with a custom piston.
If you get the compression distance, ring stack, valve notch position, angle and depth, compression dome, pin size, etc. wrong you eat it.

Like I said, I sent a few emails to JE Pistons and ROSS to see what they come up with. I guess I have to wait and see.

maybe you could find forged 307 pistons, easier,,
Posted By: dodgycanuck Re: Who makes forged pistons - 05/06/10 05:12 PM
I thought about that... but honestly, who builds a 307?

The 307 piston is a direct replacement for the 250 engines.

That seems cheap enough Armond, plus you get 2 spares.

If you don't jump on those somebody else will. A set of JE pistons for a 292 are over $500 more than that!

That's damm cheap price...$$$$.

I still have these pistons in my engine that I used nitrous & supercharger. Nothing wrong w/them.
