Looking for a good 53/54 (rebuilder) master cyl. for my 50 Chevy Deluxe std. shift. My 50 Chevy master cyl. just want hold another rebuild....!!! I under stand that the 53/54 master cyls. have a smaller bore and work better. I have the Bendix upgrade all around so this upgrade will help.. Local part stores have listings for them (reman) but are unable to find them in their suppliers..

I have two of them. One of them is in good shape. Was in use in my 53 when I changed it out for the one that works with my new disc brakes PM me if you are interested.

If that doesn't work out have it bored and sleeved.

Buffalo does a dual-circuit conversion that turns the old master cylinder into a pedal mount (so condition is irrelevant):

I bought mine through the Filling Station. Two hydraulic circuits are better then one . . . .
