I found wheel cylinders at NAPA, but no brake shoes. Anyone have an idea where I can get a set of brake shoes! Hopefully, on the East coast.

Hi Dennis,
Phone Roberts Motor Parts in West Newbury, Ma. 978 - 363 - 5407.

Kanter may have some, also you can try Andy Bernbaum. Most likely you will need to send your old ones in for a core ($50!) this is why the chain stores don't have them. They generally get re-bonded as opposed to being disposable.

You might try getting them relined locally. That's what I do with old stuff. It's pretty reasonable, too.

I recently bought shoe linings on ebay for my 38 and 49 plymouth. I have rivets in stock and have done the shoes myself several times. There are more on ebay this week if you care to put them together yourself. good luck, Bob
