Does anyone know where or what type of after-market power steering units are available for the larger trucks?

Identify "larger trucks" please.

If you want power steering for a "larger truck", I'm expecting you have a vintage larger truck.

My best suggestion is try getting a power steering box off a newer "larger truck" of similar size and rating to what you have.

You might be able to get the box, pump, plumbing, pitman arm and any other odds and ends (ie reservoir for the pump if it's seperate).

You might be able to swap in the other pieces (drag link, idler arm, etc) if the hole spacings are correct for your front suspension.

An interesting idea a friend of mine on another forum has is to swap the beam axle, springs, disc brakes and power steering out of a modern 2-4 ton truck into his older "larger" truck.

He's just looking for a newer "larger" truck with a track width that is correct, and frame rails that are somewhere close to the correct width.

So what do you have, a COE, larger?

Perhaps Wonton has a one ton?

I thought of that, but they aren't any "larger" really.
