Yep, w/a restrictor plate engine you can run a bunch of compression on them, but, if you take the restrictor out, watch out, engine will not last long.

Timing is where it needs to be and it runs when we pump the gas and keep pumping but as soon as you let off it dies. I think it's a fuel issue not timing because when it runs it sounds ok

Man, that blast job made it look like new. I ran a little 2GC 1-3/32 venturi (roughly 28mm hank talk)off of a 283 Chevy on a 194 with just a rebuild and stock jets-it did well without the nasally whistle of the stock Model B. Should do well on a 23

It's a common problem w/most people, never enough money to get our rides done quickly.

Yes, that is a rack & pinion, wanted to clean up the engine compartment & remove some weight.
