1967 and newer 292 used a flywheel with 1/2" bolts and 3 dowel pins. I have used ones and 1 new one in stock. 63-66 used 7/16 bolts and 1 dowel pin. Same as SBC Also have used ones in that.

Thanks for the advice. So, arp for a Chevy, is that what I am asking for, for whatever size the crank is drilled for? How about the flywheel? Is it the same as a small block Chevy?

ARP bolts DO NOT USE washers Of any kind. The harmonics will mess them up. Some 292 cranks use 1/2in bolts. So if that is what yours has you will have to Re-drill the flywheel.

The Pinto carb (weber 5200 progressive 2bbl) was always electric & water heated choke, super reliable carb, very good on gas, lots of folks here and on fordsix have run em with an adapter. Without an adapter, that would be my top choice tho I h

If your ok doing a manifold swap or modifying a stock one.. A rodchester dual jet (front half of a Qjet) off of a 80 ish 305 will be a lot more efficient. They come with electric choke.
