Two 228 GMC and Two 235 / 261 Chevrolet rocker arm assemblies FOR SALE. These items were taken from a salvage yard and appear to be in good shape. I've cleaned off the first couple layers of grease and will send you pictures of the rocker arm assembly if you are interested.
Chevrolet rocker arm assemblies are $100.00 each, GMC rocker arm assemblies are $130.00 each. Items are sold as an assembly. Each of these items are used and wear at the tips of the rocker arms is normal and evident. (wear at the tip of the rocker arm against the tip/end of the valve stem)
In addition to the assemblies I have miscellaneous springs, washers, and rocker arms for sale.
The friction point at the tip of the rocker arms may be restored to factory condition if desired. The restoration work is done on a 1950s factory jig, I will provide a picture of the jig and the box it came in if desired. Restoration cost is $36.00 for all 12 of the rocker arms on each assembly.
If you want me to restore the tips of your rocker arms the charge will be $35.00 plus shipping to me and return shipping to you.
In addition I have some individual rocker arms for sale, $5.00 per rocker arm. The tips of the individually sold rocker arms may be restored for $3.00 each.
