Has anyone built headers with 3 pairs of pipes, 1&6, 5&2, and 3&4? I think 3 lakes plugs peaking out under the left running board and 3 muffled pipes out back on the drivers side would be really cool.

Would the 360 degree pulses be mellow or annoying? Not stereo but trereo?

Uncorked BLAT! BLAT! BLAT!

Out back Blub,Blub,Blub??????

Opinions or experience welcome!

Greetings . . .

Interesting idea - not sure how practical given the layout of the ports. One would need to join the two extremes and split both siamese openings in half with tubes into into separate collectors. With these three concentric Y's it would be crowded under the intake.

Also, with just two cylinders per collector one would need to run very narrow tube diameters to get any amount scavenging between exhaust pulses. Even then low end throttle response would probably suffer.

To the engine this set up would look alot like zoomie headers.

No idea how it would sound.

That would work with the ford 300, or the 4200 Chev.

It would definetly be an interesting sound.
