I dont think anyone made them 'cept maybe clifford, yeah clif and Franks (looks like a copy) pretty hard to find since 4bbls were a pretty new thing during the 216-235 era.

By 1955 all they had were Carter WCFB (What a Crummy Four Barrel) some 4GC rochesters, and some "birdnest" Ford stuff.

I know from a friend's experiance with a wallowed out stocker intake that a WCFB Carter worked nice on a 235-The 265 Chevy WCFB had like 15/16" front venturis and 1-1/16" secondary venturis. And did have weighted secondary "flaps" that did not immediately open upon stomp.

I call them crummy 'cause they have sooo many pieces and adjustments.
