Inliners International Forums General Discussion Hi Performance What is the weak link in a 235? Rods? Crank? or???

I plan to fuel inject and add some boost to my '59 year 235.

What is the weak link when you start pushing them? Do connecting rods fail? Does the crank break? When you wind them up what's the first thing to fail? I must admit the split end on the connecting rods scares me.
