Hello, I am new to this forum. One of my hobbies is to save car and truck collectibles from a scrap yard. Someone turned in a 1 1/2 Ton GMC with a 302 inline 6 with a Clark 5 speed. Would it be worth my time to pull these and save them from being recycled? I plan on going back tomorrow and see if the motor turns. Would it be better to just remove the head and a few other parts or the whole motor?

If you have time and the tools, get all of it.

302s are getting harder to find and there is a demand. A complete one that is not cracked would be worth your time. Just because it doesn't turn does not mean it's junk. Let us know what happens.
