The first vehicle I drove was a 1952 International pickup. It had the monstrous 220 six cylinder in it. I overhauled it, but the rear seal was a "wax rope" and had trashed the rear of the crankshaft and could never get it right. It's been sitting in a barn for the past 35 years with the last run about 20 years. I'm planning to bring it back to life. I don't know if I'll mess with getting the engine running or not, I did not like that engine. I saw the same engine at the machine shop, a guy was having it rebuilt. Quite the effort and massive expense to get that beast rebuilt. Perhaps, though, I'll do the "can I start it" routine cleaning fluids, seeing if it's seized, etc.

It seems that I had a small discussion about this a while back, but can't find it.

Long story short, the truck had passed hands back and forth and is now in a relatives hands. We're trying to figure out what it's worth. Any idea on how to get an approximate value?

Thanks!
