The car has a 450 cid straight 8 with dohc and 4 valves per cylinder, and four carbs, the engine was built in 1928/1929, and rebuilt after WWII.

Dave and his son Bryan are former Inliners members and Dave's Father was an Inliners members. They have some very cool toys.

Vilas Motor Works in Bryan Texas, which neighbors College Station, had a Duesenberg engine with transmission in there shop in March 2016. Looked to be setting there for a while, and may still be there. Also appeared to be in very good original external shape. Engine block paint was green, no rust. Single carburetor.

The Delco electricals through me for a loop when I first saw the engine. I knew this was not a General Motors engine.
