just acquired a 66 Mustang with a six cylinder engine. Runs fine but a dog! What is available for this little inline and where can I find it. I want to keep it and not install a V-8
Visit VintageInlines.com Matt is the source for parts for the small six.A few quick upgrades off the top of my head are a addition of a late model DS distributor, weber carb, headers etc.
Also AussieSpeed.com has some stuff for the non crossflow 6.They now have a dealer for them in Texas.Clifford also has a few parts for the small 6 still.

Ak Miller squeezed a 300 L6 into an early Mustang but it was a bit of surgery, possibly K member etc. but the big engine is a huge step up.
