hello,
i am currently rebuilding my 66 chevy II. i have a 194 in there. i am looking to keep it original, but i need an oil pan for it. any hints of where i can find one aftermarket?the sump is pused back just a little to make clearance for the center linkage.
thanks! michael

the sump should be a center sump not pushed back.
If the sump is in the rear of the pan Then you may?? not have a stock motor to that car.

Were is your dip stick Near the front(near center next to the dist) or near the back closer to the starter?? If it is near the back Then It's not even a 194. it would be either a 230 Or maybe even a 250 if someone has changed motors at anytime.

the dipstick is near the front, by the distibutor, and the sump is in the center.
