i was wondering i have a 1979 camaro 4.1 250 in it have the intakemanifold attached to the exhaust manifold is there any way to upgrade this if so let me know i would like to put a 4 barrel on it but im lost on what to do with it.

iw as also wondering if i went and got a new head from a salvage yard could i just bolt that sucker on or would there be any majors jobs i would have to do

That manifold will work for any non-integral head 194-292. If you are an Inliner member, it may be less expensive at Stovebolt as I believe Tom gives a discount for members.

i actullay found one on ebay 77 dollars the whole kit i was gonna put it one my 292 but then some one jacked the motor and car actully and decided they were gonna joy ride it into the river so im gonna use it on my 79 slomaro now dang hoodlums but hey my insurance is gonna cover it and fix my car but i like 250 better so i got another motor too put in it once paint upolstry and body work is done

well it was they managed to recove it thank god ruied every thing im mean i had worked for like 4 year to restore this to orignal cost about 22000 dollars still fires me up thinking about it uphostery paint body complete overhaul on the motor all stock but cherry shape grrrrrr all down the drain but hey insurence from allstate rules let me tell ya
