I know that some John Deere tractors used a chevy 292. Is the exhaust manifold the same? Tis is one on ebay that looks like a '63 2 1/2" manifold. Can it be used? I already got one but just wondering for future references. Thanks.

Yup,

This is the same manifold used on large trucks (50 & 60 series). The light duty 292 exhaust manifolds were the same as the 230 & 250. This manifold may allow use of a mild cam without having to go to expensive headers.

That's what I was hoping for. Thanks for the help.

I won a different one off ebay last night and then saw this one, cheaper of course. The one I bought last night had a carb and intake so hopefully I will be able to sell them to recoupe cost.
