I yust saw this: click and was verry surprised! I rebuilded several 235/216/261 but never came across this.

Are they still aviable? If yes where?

Ford uses exhaust valve rotators on many of its engines, like the 302, 351 and 300 sixes. I don't see why they can't be used on your application. Only needed on the exhaust side. Be sure to check the valve springs you are using for coil bind, proper loads, etc. Ford engines use a different spring for the exhaust side to compensate for the added thickness of the rotator. I was so surprised, because it was in the official Chevrolet Service Bulletin and seems to be a standart factory part in the 50s and early 60s engines?

I never even saw one on all those engines I worked on.

Where they are replaced later by the usual stepped washers?
