I think a member previously posted that you'll need to use tube headers with a Clifford Intake manifold, otherwise contact Kansas Kustoms in the advertiser section of this site.
Not. If you use tube headers, you get no heat to the intake. Read through some of the old posts. This topic has been discussed at length in this section of the "B" Board.
If your Clifford Intake is a water heated model you can plumb it for heat.If not you can add a heat plate either aftermarket or make your own from aluminum stock. Some people make out fine not running any heat at all although most seem to run heat.See in this section "Manifold Heater"
from Desert Dove on 04/15/04.Good luck with your project.
Would anything bad happen if you didn't have the heated intake? Does it make it run better,or would something break if it wasn't installed?!
redblackvans, check out the Inliners Tech Page and read Tom Langdon's article on intake heat.
