Has anyone heard of this i was told that this was one of jim headricks tricks in the motor cotton perry won the gator nationals with. the 292 engine was used by allis chalmers in a combine and can be used in my tractor as a pulling engine . So I am thinking about a build up for one. If some one knows which rod I would appreciate it . I looked at clevites rod bearing sizes for some of the small masseys it seams it could have been as small as a 1.5 rod journal to a 1.970 .

Mitch, Jim always used Superod brand aluminum rods in Cotton's engines. They were 7.250" long, and used the standard 2.100" rod journals.
