looking for some advice on which disk brake kit to go with ,, looking for something that will bolt in.. there are alot of choices and Im sure some are better than others.. it wil be 5 lug with no booster, looking for some help.....

As I understand it you can get the adapters / brackets from Buffalo and source the rest from any parts store (he supplies the list of what pieces you need).

Should be cheaper on shipping, and I've heard good things about his hardware.

I have used the kits from CPP and Performance Online on '54 GMCs. Neither are "bolt-in". Both required modification. Both master cylinder brackets had to be cut apart and re-welded.

Give the 5 lug 4+3/4" bolt circle MP Brake kit a look. The caliper brackets fit my 52 Chevy 1/2 ton stock front axel perfect. Didn't have to cut a thing.

Takes alot of effort to operate disc brakes w/ no booster.

Buffalo does make good stuff. He's a great guy also with alot of knowledge he is willing to share. I made my own adapter bracket. I was not hard at all and ALOT cheaper.
