Don,
Send me a list of your engine numbers. I'll see if I can identify them.

Don, is it the long block or short---app.23 inch and 25 inch at the head. The Canada stuff had a bunch of different cube engines the US short blocks had the 218-230 for instance and the long blocks were in the Desotos and Chrysler--251 and 265 the Chrysler blocks were the only ones to have the SPITFIRE ON THE HEAD---the Canada blocks had long blocks with smaller cubes also---of course the serial #`s will give you what you need. How many engines do you have?? Lee
Don,
I need the number stamped on the block boss located just below the cylinder head and behind the water pump on the ignition side of the block. I do not need the casting numbers on the ignition side of the blocki. It should have something like "T38XXXX" or "DXXXX" or "Pxxxx" or "Sxxxx" or "INDxxx"
Thnaks
37 dodge That number is T245-22966 thank you again
Here's a site that will be very helpful. Looks like the T245 was a 23" block at 230 cubic inches. It appeared to be used on military vechicles. This engine would be a good swap for most '39 - '59 Plymouth or Dodge cars and trucks.

I have a 1935 KH-32 V. The maintenance manuals I have list either a KH30-V or a K32-V. Can someone decipher the model numbers for me? What does the "H" represent. And the "30" vs. the "32"?
The truck has a 201 cu. in. engine, which according to the maintenance manual is the same as the KH30-V. The K32-V has a 218 cu. in. Does this mean I should follow the data for the KH30-V?
I'd like to get some assistance (and double checking) of the truck and engine information for my 1935 Dodge KH-32 V Truck:

B-3-0 = cab for a chassis cowl KH-32V (mid size truck with just the sheet metal from the dash forward, no windshield)
15988 = sequential number in B-3-0 sequence
build date: between June and October 1935
