It appears to be a Howard Head GMC(45 degree intake ports). The 2 piece rocker cover could be a Horning or Fisher or even a repop. My guess on the car is a 50's Chevrolet. Like to say it has a 1 piece windshiels but that would be a stretch...Good Luck

Thanks for the reply JD. Did the Howard heads use the stock valve train and cam? Also, wondering if the intake adapters to the carbs are something custom or did that come with the Howard heads etc?

The Howard head could use all the stock stuff including the cam. The Horning/Fisher was the only one I knew of which moved the valve arrangment.
All the Howards I've seen have injectors and could use the same ones as the Wayne. The picture of the Webers look great but I know of no manifolds for it. Howards son Don may know; he works at Chet Herberts shop in California. I assume the Howard could use all of the Wayne GMC manifolds but the 45 degree angle may mess this up.
The Chevrolet Wayne used the 45 degree angle also so it's a possibility something from one of those could be made to fit but it wouldn't be easy. Webers are "modern" so who knows how this was done. Good Luck

Shiny as the pictured engine is, this may be an Arias head (based on the Howard). i think that Arias may have made some Weber manifolds.

That is one pretty picture. i agree with J D that the engine appears to be installed in an early 1950s Chevrolet passenger car.

Thanks for all the help guys! I really appreciate it. I've got a Wayne 12 port GMC head project going now and I was doing some digging on the 12 port history and came across that picture.
