Has anybody ever adapted a small block chevy throttle body injection kit to work on a straight 6? As Far as I know I need to use in throttle body, I would need a computer controled distributor, and o2 Sensors. How would I go about doing this?

Yes, we just did a conversion at the inliners convention last month.

Beater of the Pack is also doing one - just a bit slow getting it completed.
Way slow getting it completed! But there is actually a lot of info on this site about how to do it. By the time you get all the reading done on the Megasquirt web site I'll have mine done. The actual installation is pretty simple. I am only having problems because I am Windows illiterate and a bit confused by some of the Megasquirt instructions. I'm getting there. Beater

Where do I find the information to do this? What were the gains to using EFI? Fuel eco wise and power wise,is it worth the efforts to do this?

All I did was search for TBI.
Do a search here "TBI conversion" will bring up a lot. Also go to these sites.

DYIAUTOTUNE
MEGASQUIRT BOARD
MEGASQUIRT

You can read forever there. I hope to be able to offer help with this soon.

Beater,

When your ready I can send you the starting tune from the 250 we worked on at the convention.. it'll get you up and ready to start driving. If anyone else wanted it I'd send it to them also.
