Does anybody know Graymarine motors. While looking at some old woodie boats I came across a Graymarine 427 c.i. straight six. I found several shops that still service, rebuild, and custom build these motors. It seems there were many Graymarine powerplant options and all seem to be GM based.

Probably that one was a Continental 427 w/ marine head.

Sounds like a 6-71 Jimmy diesel to me. Graymarine converted thousands of these during WWII.

He said it's a flathead, therefore no Gimmy.
