Anyone know where to get a NOS or repo front engine mount for a 270/302 GM inline 6? They are not your normal rubber washer that is found on the smaller chevys.

The mount is a square rubber piece with metal backing pads. Metal grommet in the middle that touches bottom mounting pad.

That same mount was used for many years in Chevies and GMCs and is available at most of the truck parts vendors.

I saw those, but they look different from the one I just removed....maybe its just the 50+ yrs of wear that the current one has...

The front mount on my '57 270 is a big round one. There is a metal yoke with a single bolt through the crossmember. Golden State

Oh yeah, In '55 they changed to the one Beater has on GMCs.

Geez, we pulled the engine out of neighbors '53 ton and a half and they were 2 round discs with holes thru them and one had Spaulding on it!! Hockey pucks??
