Hey guys,

just asking if anyone here has used one of these filters for there inline 194,230,250,or 292 inline 6?
example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/System-1-Spin-On...2e0de8d&vxp=mtr

If so, what part number kit did you get & or what is the thread size & TPI on our engines for the oil filter?

Hank,

Are you planning to use the filter on a racing engine? Otherwise, with a specification of "Smallest Particle Filtered
45 microns", it provides far from optimium filtration for street use.

I used one on several race cars. Good filter IMO. Just about burst proof, ask me how I know \:\)
On the Gulfstream airplanes http://www.gulfstream.com/products/g650/ , there engine oil filters is just a cleanable metal mesh filter simular to the System 1 filter.

Good filter for racing. Probably fine for aircraft as I would figure there is not much dust and debris in the air at an altitude of 10,000 feet.
