Hello everyone, I am new to this and feel like being part of becuase it looks like I will learn a lot about my 235... As far as takin the engine apart, does anybody know where I can get any references or a book to help rebuild my 235 step-by-step the correct way?

Go on ebay and buy a Shop Manual. They cost around $25.00 and it will help you a lot. Mine is old, greasy and torn from being used so much. Have FUN and good luck. If you have a problem there are some great people on here that can help you. Also you might join the Inliners. Again some realy great guys and alot of fun.

Your first step needs to be determining WHAT YEAR ENGINE you have, then get the repop factory manual. Ed Faxton might be a good source, as he is in Riverside. Let me WARN YOU - the 235 is NOT A CHEAP BUILD, PARTS ARE MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE than the later sixes (250-292).
