I am working on connecting my fuel sending unit on my '52 Chev sedan. My gas tank is empty, and I notice that I have zero resistance between the ground plane on top of the unit and the center post. Is this normal? Does the resistance increase as the tank fills up?
Thanks in advance for your help

found out that sender unit is at low resistance at empty and gets higher toward full. My zero was really 4.2ohms
