Inliners International
I'm building a new inline 6 with a comp com, new timing gears, etc. When installing the new cam and crankshaft where should I position the gears for correct timing? I've read some conflicting information. Some say the cam timing mark should point towards 10 o'clock and the crank gear should do the same. Other sources say the timing marks should point towards each other?

Can anyone speak from experience?

Thanks!
Towards each other
You can point them toward each other, or crank toward cam and cam away from crank. Same thing. In my experience, point them toward each other, then rotate crank 360 and you'll be on #1 firing.
Thanks folks, ill point them towards each other!
