Hey guys, got a customer who has a street rod where they installed what they believe to be a 1976 Gremlin rearend. Problem now is that the side gears in the differential have chipped a couple of teeth. Are these available anywhere new without spending an arm and a leg or are the internal parts the same as any GM Product? Any help greatly appreciated.

Hope you found something! Is it an AMC 15 or AMC 20 rear axle? AMC 15 has drain plug on the rear cover and 7-9/16" ring gear. AMC 20 has smooth cover, drain on front of housing, and 8-7/8" ring gear. Any Jeep dealer can get the gears, as well as most aftermarket suppliers. The Dana 35 is basically a copy of the AMC 15 and parts should interchange. The AMC 20 is unique, but the center is still used in the AMG Hummer.
