Okay I realized my transmission vacuum modulator will most likely need vacuum to shift the tranny as it should. Anyone know a workaround for when the manifold is under boost?

Just when I think I'm off the struggle bus.....

I'm back to my assigned seat.

This is the fix you need - mind you - depending on the boost your running - you may need to boost regulate the line pressure to keep the clutches alive - not so easy to do with a non-electronic trans.

Thanks for the info. It looks like this is a check valve to vent boost pressure and maintain vacuum when the throttle plates are shut. Is that right? I have no PB so I could just keep the manifold tap running to the modulator with this in line, right?
