Yeah that mine, right now im doing some suspension work on the car, prepping for paint also. The car is back in N/A mode for now still trying to get my buddy to part with his built 250. I do have my V8 almost back together but were waiting to get a test stand to fire it up, but that may be a while. As long as I can work my buddy out of his motor well be back on track.
RevOD,,,,
does that mean you are going to try the turbo inline still?
BTW,,,
why are you NA now?

Ah yes on my trip the turbo failed, turns out it was an oiling issue all along not a size issue. Low oil pressure combined with possibly not enough flow and that was all she wrote. Made it 120 miles before it started grinding and another 20 before it blew the real oil seal out and started smoking hard core. The hot side of the shaft near the bearings were blued very bad from overheating, scored up pretty bad too, so possibly there was some trash in the oil.

Yeah if can get his 250 well go with it, working on locating a truck manifold for it and modifications to keep the heat off that intake.

We had to pull the turbo off when we got to our destination, left the exhaust housing on and blocked it off, the thing was backing up so much heat it was boiling the fuel out of the carb on contact. But had no other choice, limped it home and now running in NA mode.
