I've been reading about snowmans fuel pump issues and want to make sure I understand it. My 292 is going to be turboed with efi. When I'm going down track and I look at my cowl mounted fuel pressure guage will I see just the fuel pressure or the fuel and boost pressure combined? I need to be sure I have the fuel pressure where it needs to be. Thanks.

Harry,
It depends on where you put the gauge.
With EFI you will likely run a fuel pressure regulator. The gauge is normally hooked up at the injector side of regulator. So in your case, the reading will show the normal fuel pressure and the boost referenced pressure combined.

So if running a TBI unit with 22 PSI (guess) and then add 10 PSI boost . The fuel pressure regulator will add 10 PSI to the fuel for a combined 32 PSI. So your fuel pump must be capable of supplying the combined 32 PSI at a volume high enough to feed the engines demand.
