Hello,

I finally got around to measuring the MPG's. It was from a 50 mile trip measures with GPS, 2-lane highway mixed with stop and go.

Came out right at 17 MPG.

I'll take it!

That is pretty damm good, what A/F ratio @ a steady state cruise?

Did you get your 5 speed working better?

Did you fix the transition problem w/the carb, if so, what did you do?

I run my Syclone @ 15.3-15.6 depending on engine load.

But it is EFI & it seems to like being that lean, no hick-ups or burbles etc.

Hank,

at cruise it bounces around from 14-17. It will buck a little when going lean, then goes fat (10.5)

I did replace my 5 speed with a S10. MUCH quieter and smoother. Happy camper.

For the carb issues. Installed the 6.5 PV and new size 59 jets. runs better, not as rich. Also, a orange accel pump cam in position #2. And checked initial timing, was at -2 deg, reset it to 8 deg.

All is good
