Sorry, this should be in the swap meet but darned if I can find how to post it there. I'm helping a friend sell this.
It's a complete 230 out of a '68 El Camino w/11k miles on it. Everything's there from the fan to the bell housing, minus the belt for the AIR pump. Comp. from #1-6 = 150 170 175 170 160 160. Dist. mount # is F0407AM, Block # is 3921968. It seems like a great drop-in for a driver, or spank up the cosmetics for something nicer. He's looking to get something like $400 or so. He's not an inline guy but couldn't (to his credit) see it going to waste so I got the call and here we are. I'll try and answer any questions here or you can PM me. Thanks in advance.., Fred

Yikes, the silence is deafening! This can be had for less. It's here in New Yorks's mid hudson valley and right in the middle of my shop floor (sob).

These 230 and 250 engines are really pretty plentiful and can be had for literally between "come pick it up for free" to $50 to $75 bucks. Its nice that he isn't just scrapping it out, but that's really only about the going rate for them.

Thanks CNC, I had that feeling from the start. Heck, I'm an inline guy and even I don't want it, but I'm tying to help out a pal. I'd better give him a call. I very much appreciate the 'sanity check' though. "No good deed goes unpunished", right? (chuckle) Thanks again for the response, Fred
