This is the head Sarge Nicholls used on his original 0460 Mercruiser. Originally a flat track engine, it was outlawed after beating everything in sight, then went on to his dragster. It bolts right up to a 0470 Mercruiser which has been bored. There are no valves but a valve girdle does come with it. This head has a porcupine valve arrangement like BBC and takes large valves. This is serious racing folks! $400

This has been up here a couple of months with no interest so I am withdrawing it. It is no longer for sale. Summit Racing has them listed for $4,000 a set.

I feel your pain. I can relate. I sold an Aussie Ford aluminum crossflow head complete with cast aluminum valve cover, intake manifold, etc. for $400 on ebay after no response from Inliners.

Reminds me of what my Granny told me just before she fell off the Harley, "Sonny, when all is said and done, there'll be much more said than done."

I'm heading to Bonneville this year, might just pack it along and see if anyone's interested, along with this Inliner Valve cover Charlie Baker cast up way back in the stone age.
