2004 up block if using stock sleeves
2005 crank - cross drilled service crank - the non-cross drilled cranks can be modified using a 2006 up crank as a guide. You need a good machinist.
2006 up rods.
2006 up pistons
2002 balancer modified to use a keyway (crank need a mod too)
Cam followers out of a 4 banger ecotech - they are investment cast. Same geometry. Same ratio.
2006 up head -ported.

All the other parts are common (the year of head choice mandates using same year coils, cam cover, VVT and exhaust manifold).

The crank uses 8 bolts to retain the drive plate. This is bulletproof - use red loctite and forget it.

The 08 and 09 ECM are the same used by the LS engines are well hacked - BUT you must either run an 08/09 crankshaft to get the 60-2 crank timing wheel or modify an 02-07 crank and install the 08 crank timing wheel - including indexing the missing timing notches to TDC #1 as close to possible as it was on the 08 crank.
