Kind of a multi-topic post, but is there any cam specs and head flow data? I have an '08 head which is at the machine shop to get the exhaust side ported, and will be doing 2mm oversized exhaust valves. I'm looking for 7500-8000RPM in a turbocharged application for my Supra. Would the intake side need to be ported as well to make any power up there? Would I need the 1mm OS intake valves? Also since the intake cam in not VVT controlled, does anyone have any on-paper gains at higher RPMS by clocking the intake cam back a tooth? Maybe an adjustable cam gear would be beneficial?
You really need to be more concerned on the larger intake valves & ported.
The exhaust will help, but not as much as the intake side of things to get more power.

How is that engine going to fit in a Supra?

I have yet to see any analysis of "what makes a good turbo head?" since it's only distantly related to CFM etc. and what is known isn't linear. Even obvious comparisons like 2JZ GE vs. GTE (different castings with the same port and valve sizes) haven't been written up.
